Our Story
From one counter to three branches
A butcher's shop in Mayfair
The Khan family opens a small butchery in Mayfair, built on hand-cut meat, fair prices and knowing every customer by name.
Growing to Lenasia
Word spreads. A second branch opens in Lenasia, bringing Khan's own sausages, polonies and biltong to a new community.
Homestead Park opens
The family adds a bakery and restaurant at Homestead Park — Khan's becomes more than a butcher.
Three generations strong
Grandchildren of the founder now run the counters, still cutting, spicing and baking the Khan's way.

Khan's has never been a chain or a franchise. The same family that opened the Mayfair shop in 1966 still runs every branch — choosing suppliers, checking the cold rooms, and tasting every batch of wors and biltong before it reaches the counter.
